A striking, African-inspired layered silk neck-piece that is extremely light weight, these necklaces are designed to utilise the sari fabric left after the production of our Kantha Sari Scarves, as part of our Zero Waste Policy. The most striking colors and prints are selected from the mountains of sari remnants. These scraps are first matched together then cut and sewn into tight tubes, which are then turned inside out, carefully positioned into layers and then hand-finished. They contain no metal parts and are very light-weight.
One piece of sari scrap can be made into several necklaces, so positioning of print may differ very slightly. Any variations or irregularities are part of the design and inherent to the production process.
