Hours are spent sorting through bags of pre-consumer textile waste, building colour stories that are an archive of all the artisanal textiles HOWS works with across India, including but not limited to: kantha, block print, clamp dye, bandhani, block print, ajrakh, dabu, jamdani, ikat. Our kantha artisans then cut and place the scrap on a backing fabric (also carefully selected from our pre consumer waste) and cover the cloth in running kantha embroidery.

Oversized, relaxed silhouette

Drop shoulders with full length sleeves and kimono-style collar

Fully lined

Closes in front with hand beaten brass buttons & hidden placket

Falls to below the knee

Crafted from hand patched & quilted cloth.
