Combining the traditional and the modern, the Kadambari is a bespoke handmade statement necklace made using handcrafted wood with semi-precious stone pendants, gundi work and brass beads. Wear it on a dress and have everyone fixated on it.

Maya-Bazaar works with grassroots-level artisans who had given up their tradition of charakkam, or hand knotting, to work as migrant labourers in Mumbai, India. Infusing their craft with modern designs and unique ideas, Maya-Bazaar continues to create individual pieces of jewellery and accessories.

At Maya-Bazaar, we encourage the employment of women and provide support in health, education, savings, family planning and relationship counselling to our craftspeople.
