Naga Konyak Necklace

The necklace is layered in separate lengths so that it can be worn together or as individual neck pieces. When we create a necklace like the Naga Konyak it takes time, each pendant is hand-knotted deftly, so that they appear perfect, fit well and last long.

Maya-Bazaar works with grass root level artisans who had given up their tradition of charakkam or handknotting to work as migrant labourers in Mumbai, India. Infusing their craft with modern designs and unique ideas, Mayabazaar continues to create individual pieces of jewellery and accessories. At Mayabazaar we encourage employment of women and provide support in health, education, savings, family planning and relationship counselling to our craftspeople.
