Naga Necklace

A modern take on the Naga (One of the tribe residing in Northeast India) ornament. Ceramic beads and gundi work are strung together to compliment a trio of gold tribal skull pendants in our handmade statement necklace. North-East India gets a new face.

Maya-Bazaar works with grass root level artisans who had given up their tradition of charakkam or handknotting to work as migrant labourers in Mumbai, India. Infusing their craft with modern designs and unique ideas, Mayabazaar continues to create individual pieces of jewellery and accessories. At Mayabazaar we encourage employment of women and provide support in health, education, savings, family planning and relationship counselling to our craftspeople.
