Nakshi Kantha Dune Robe - Rust Floral

Wandering Silk's Kantha Dune Robe is made from all-over hand-embroidered kantha on hand woven tussar silk. The kantha, a traditional folk stitch, has been reimagined in a contemporary geometric pattern and colourways. This design of kantha overlay also features Nakshi Kantha - a kantha stitch made up of motifs influenced by religion, culture and the lives of women stitiching them. Kanthas tell of folk beliefs and practices, religious ideas, themes & characters from mythology & epics and social & personal lives of the artisans.

The fabric is light and soft and has a gentle drape. It is unlined. Please note that each robe is unique; colour positioning and shades differ slightly from piece to piece.
