Vintage Phulkari Blazer

Onkar Blazer is made of Antique Phulkari Fabric/Chaddar. Each piece is one of a Kind in the world, as the name suggests. All pieces are named and numbered.

Kinche Phulkari Jackets is an attempt to immortalise these unique pieces by converting them into wearable art. All pieces are made keeping environment sustainability in mind by not adding new fabric to the environment.

While ‘phulkari’ means floral work, it doesn’t just include flowers but also vibrant geometric shapes and motifs as well. The dynamic darn stitch on the wrong side of the fabric with resham thread is a trademark Punjabi craft practised by the women embodying as well as celebrating womanhood in all its prettiness and pluck.
