• Contrast cotton facing at hem and center front to add weight and detailing
• Crafted from an ultra-fine handwoven silk-cotton blend. We’ve hand block printed the cloth in a multi-colour polka using the traditional technique of discharge printing, which uses natural resins and steaming to create these soft-edged patterns.

Textile details 

HOWS' block printed cloth showcases a diverse range of printing techniques from around India. All share the use of hand carved wooden blocks applied, by hand, to the surface of cloth to layer colours & patterns. The discharge print is created using natural resins mixed with pigment which are then steamed to create highly textured resist prints by our partner in Bangalore.
