Stemming from the Greek language Zoe means Life. Featuring the ancient Greek craft form Macrame, Zoe is a celebratory piece. Classy and rich, without being over the top, this neck piece exemplifies the Greek lifestyle of classic simplicity. With wispy green tassels mirroring the grass and crochet leaves, this piece adds movement to an outfit. Brass gold polished stamped disks and freshwater pearls add a touch of grandeur to the piece. Maya-Bazaar works with grass root level artisans who had given up their tradition of charakkam or handknotting to work as migrant labourers in Mumbai, India. Infusing their craft with modern designs and unique ideas, Mayabazaar continues to create individual pieces of jewellery and accessories. At Mayabazaar we encourage employment of women and provide support in health, education, savings, family planning and relationship counselling to our craftspeople.
