Upcycled Silk String & Beads Necklace, سلسلة من الحرير المعاد تدويره وقلادة من الخرز

A striking, African-inspired layered neck-piece, handcrafted from upcycled silk sari remnants. Layers of thin, silk tubes are mixed with strings of silk-covered beads for an interesting texture. We suggest wearing it close around the neck, but adjustable ties allow you to wear it at any length.

The most striking colours and prints from the mountains of sari remnants are selected in the workshop. These scraps are first matched together then cut and sewn into tight tubes, which are then turned inside out, carefully positioned into layers and then hand-finished. They contain no metal parts and are very light-weight.

One piece of sari scrap can be made into several necklaces, so positioning of print may differ very slightly. Any variations or irregularities are part of the design and inherent to the production process.
